These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Pikipon, a service that helps parents and caregivers turn children’s drawings into personalized AI storybooks.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, uploading content, or using Pikipon, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Pikipon does
Pikipon allows users to upload a child’s drawing, choose a visual style, approve a generated character image, add story details, and generate an illustrated storybook.
The service uses artificial intelligence to create story text, images, and related content. The result may vary from one generation to another.
3. Adult use only
Pikipon is intended for adults, parents, and legal guardians.
Children should not create accounts, purchase plans, or use the service without adult supervision.
By using Pikipon, you confirm that you are legally able to accept these Terms and that you are responsible for any content uploaded through your account.
4. User accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
You must not share your account with unauthorized users, use another person’s account, or provide false information.
You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.
5. Uploaded content
You may upload drawings and related content only if you have the right to do so.
You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, private, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
You must not upload personal data, images, names, or materials relating to another person unless you have permission.
You keep any rights you have in the content you upload. However, by uploading content to Pikipon, you give Pikipon the permission needed to process, store, modify, analyze, and use that content to provide the service.
6. Generated storybooks
Pikipon may generate story text, images, titles, characters, layouts, PDFs, previews, and other related content.
Generated content is created by AI and may contain errors, inconsistencies, unexpected details, or results that do not match your expectations.
Pikipon does not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, unique, consistent, suitable for every child, educational, emotionally appropriate, or free from defects.
7. Personal use only
Generated stories, images, characters, PDFs, and other outputs are provided for personal, family, and private use only.
Pikipon does not grant commercial rights to generated content.
You may not sell, license, publish commercially, distribute commercially, use in advertising, use for business purposes, mint as NFTs, resell, or otherwise exploit generated content for commercial gain.
You may print or share generated storybooks privately with family and friends, as long as this use remains personal and non commercial.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the Pikipon website, software, design, brand, interface, prompts, systems, workflows, and technology remain owned by Pikipon or its licensors.
You must not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape, modify, or create competing services based on Pikipon.
Your uploaded drawings remain yours, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the service.
Generated content is licensed to you under these Terms for personal and non commercial use only.
9. Plans, story credits, and usage
Pikipon may offer different paid plans, including Starter, Plus, and Family.
Each plan includes a number of story credits. A story credit allows you to generate one storybook, subject to technical limits and fair use rules.
Story credits are not money. They cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged for cash, or used outside Pikipon.
Unused story credits are handled as follows:
Starter: unused monthly story credits expire at the end of the current billing month.
Plus: unused monthly story credits may roll over for up to 30 days.
Family: unused monthly story credits may roll over for up to 60 days.
Expired story credits are lost and will not be refunded.
Pikipon may update plan features, prices, limits, or credit rules from time to time. Changes will not affect a billing period already paid for unless required by law or clearly stated.
10. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Payments are handled by third party payment providers. Pikipon does not store your full payment card details.
You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges related to your plan.
If payment fails, Pikipon may suspend or limit access to paid features.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or through the payment provider interface, where available.
Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund past payments.
After cancellation, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current paid billing period, unless your access is suspended for breach of these Terms.
12. Refunds and withdrawal rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days.
However, when you ask Pikipon to start generating digital content immediately, you agree that the service begins right away.
Where permitted by law, once generation has started, story credits have been used, or digital content has been delivered, you may lose your right to withdraw from that purchase.
Refunds are not provided for used story credits, generated content, expired credits, dissatisfaction with AI quality, or failure to use the service during the billing period, unless required by law.
13. AI quality disclaimer
Pikipon uses AI systems and third party providers to generate content.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inconsistent, strange, repetitive, low quality, inaccurate, or different from what you expected.
Pikipon is not responsible for the subjective quality of generated stories, images, character consistency, writing style, illustration style, or emotional effect.
You are responsible for reviewing any generated content before showing it to a child or sharing it with others.
14. Safety and moderation
Pikipon may refuse, block, regenerate, remove, or restrict content that appears unsafe, inappropriate, illegal, harmful, or contrary to these Terms.
Pikipon may also limit or suspend accounts that misuse the service, attempt to bypass safety systems, abuse generation features, or upload prohibited content.
15. Availability and technical limits
Pikipon may not always be available.
Generation may fail, take longer than expected, or produce incomplete results due to technical issues, AI provider limits, network issues, maintenance, or other reasons.
Pikipon may modify, pause, replace, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
Pikipon is not a permanent storage or backup service. You are responsible for downloading or saving content you want to keep.
16. Data and privacy
Your use of Pikipon is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
To provide the service, Pikipon may process uploaded drawings, story inputs, generated content, account information, and technical data.
Some content may be processed by third party AI, hosting, storage, analytics, and payment providers.
Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how data is collected, used, stored, and deleted.
17. Account deletion and content loss
If you delete your account, cancel your subscription, fail to pay, violate these Terms, or stop using the service, some content may become inaccessible or be deleted.
Pikipon may delete draft projects, incomplete generations, expired content, or unused data after a reasonable period.
Pikipon is not responsible for content loss caused by account deletion, expired credits, technical failure, user error, or service changes, unless required by law.
18. Prohibited uses
You must not use Pikipon to:
Create illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, adult, violent, or exploitative content.
Violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.
Generate content for commercial use.
Resell or redistribute Pikipon outputs.
Use automated systems to scrape, overload, or abuse the service.
Attempt to bypass payment, safety, access, or usage limits.
Use Pikipon to create competing products or services.
19. Third party services
Pikipon may rely on third party services for payments, hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, AI generation, email, and other technical functions.
Pikipon is not responsible for third party service interruptions, errors, decisions, terms, or availability.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pikipon is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost content, lost data, emotional disappointment, failed generation, poor quality outputs, service interruptions, or user misuse of generated content.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
21. Changes to these Terms
Pikipon may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
Your continued use of Pikipon after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
23. Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L.612 1 and following of the French Consumer Code, if you are a consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly with Pikipon after a written complaint, you may use a consumer mediation service free of charge.
